Tutorial of Kigo DVD Ripper
Kigo DVD Ripper is a powerful DVD converting tool which can rip DVD to all popular video and audio formats as it includes the features of DVD Ripper and DVD Audio Ripper.
It can rip DVD video to video formats including MP4, AVI, SWF, 3G2, 3GP, MPG, WMV, FLV, etc; and it can convert DVD audio to MP3, AAC, etc. for most portable players such as iPhone, iPod, Apple TV, PSP, Xbox 360, PS3, iRiver, Creative Zen, Archos and so on.
Here we will take ripping DVD to iPhone MP4 for example to show you step by step how does Kigo DVD Ripper work.
Load DVD movie
Step 1. Insert a DVD disc to CD-ROM and then run Kigo DVD Ripper.
Step 2. Click "Load DVD" to choose DVD drive and then click "Open" button. The DVD clips will be loaded on the interface in a few seconds.
1. After DVD clips are loaded, you can choose one to preview in preview window.
Tip 2. You can capture your favorite pictures during preview and save them. You can use the default snapshot directory or reset it before capturing by clicking the third button below the preview window.
Set output parameters
Check the DVD clips you want to convert, then choose Apple iPhone MPEG-4 Movie (.mp4) as the output format in "Profile" drop-down list. You can use the default "Output Directory" or reset it by clicking.
1. After you choose an output format, the output filename, various video, audio and DVD options are defaults, you can change them by clicking the corresponding button if it is needed.
2. Kigo DVD Ripper allows you to add a customized output format to the profile. You can choose an output format in profile list, cutomize the General, Video, Audio and DVD options as you wish and then save current profile.
Kigo DVD Ripper allows you to trim video in order to save DVD clips as your desired parts and formats. There are two ways to trim
1. You can trim video by setting the start and stop time in "General" label. 2. You can trim video by choosing chapters in "DVD" label.
After finishing all these preparations, you can click "Encode" to start ripping DVD. "Status" will show you the encoding progress. You can click "Stop Encode" if you want to stop encoding.
Tip: You can click "Library" to retrieve all videos including unconverted, converting and converted.
