In General page, choose jpg from Output Format pull-down list. You can use the default output folder.

Tip: You can also use Size page to compress BMP images. If you select Size factor, you can input a number between 0.1 and 1. If you select Width and Height, you can fill the exact width and height of the photo by pixel (select "Keep aspect ratio" to keep the aspect ratio of image).
